AACI performs surface preparation and special coatings application on site and at our Indianapolis facility.  The experience of our staff spans over 30 years. Surface Preparation All surface preparation is performed to the standards set by the Steel Structure Painting Council (SSPC) recomendations.  Methods of surface preparation vary according to the project, but could include Hand Tool Cleaning, Grinding, Needle Scaling, Chemical Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Water Blasting, and Sand Blasting. At our facility we sandblast small and large parts that include Drilling Rigs, Structural Steel, Pump Systems, Parts for Powder Coating Facilities, State of the Art Mower Components, ect. Coating Application We apply a broad range of coatings from Red Oxide Primers and Zinc Rich Primers to corrosion resistant Hybrid Epoxies and Urethanes.  We apply potable water coatings on a regular basis to pump systems that ship to water facilities world wide. We apply tank linings, Coatings for strcuture steel, ect. We have coated parts and projects for public utilty companies, nuclear power plants, lead facilities, major & minor manufacturing companies, the petro chemical insustry, farming & agriculture, and equipment companies, just to name a few. Our facility is one of the few in the midwest that can handle large, or heavy parts. Testing & Quality Control AACI has state of the art testing equipment to perfom tests throughout the surface preparation and coating process.  Many of the tests performed can be downloaded into our computer system to provide comprehensive reports to our clients.
